Michael Lyon - General Manager Michael Lyon has kept reptiles since he was five years old. His first
reptile was a garter snake named "Snakey". He began volunteering at the zoo
5years ago, just a few short months after the zoo opened. In April of 2004
Michael became the General Manager of the zoo. He is married to Shannon, who
|
doesnt care that much for snakes, but has a huge interest in frogs, and
fish. Together they have 1 son- Timothy. He can be seen running around the
zoo giving free tours and hands on shows to anyone who will listen. Actually
he provides this service even if no one is listening. Michael's favorite
animal is a snake, and especially California Kingsnakes. 
Michael is thrilled
to be a part of the Little Ray's Reptile Zoo team, as are his wife(does the
newsletter) and son(occasional shows).
