 Natalie Mears- Wildlife Educator
Hey, my name is Natalie. I'm one of the newer faces at the zoo but have definitely always had a passion for animals, especially reptiles. I would have to say that snakes are definitely my favorites. My first snake was a garter snake brought home to me after a construction worker accidently snipped the end of its tail with his shovel. After taking care of him for awhile, I of course let him go.
In the zoo you will mostly find me hosting birthday parties, which in my opinion is the best job in the zoo. Think about it: I get to hang out all day with both children and animals!!!
Outside of the zoo, I also work as a Pharmacy Technician,

although my future plans are to eventually become a Veterinarian, specializing in reptiles. If there's one quote I'd have to say best suites my interest in reptiles, it would be ' there is a fine line between a hobby and an obsession...'.
